Yan Shan: what if you were sailing, and a turtle flies out of the water into your mouth?

Me: i'll eat it up.

Yan Shan: what if the turtle had a hard shell, and you choked?

Me: i'll crush its shell with my teeth.

Yan Shan: what if your teeth break?

Me: they won't. they're very strong.

Yan Shan: Really!? you've tried it before??

Me: yes, of course.

questions like this kept pouring out of yan shan's mouth this morning. and for those who don't know, she's not a five year old child. she's a (freaky!!) top student in tjc. doesn't sound like it, right?? lol.

"what would happen if i inverted the tank?"

"would the turtles think that it's night if i cover the tank with black paper?"

"can i teach the turtles maths?"

"if i put a pen into the turtle's hands(???), can they write?"

"can i teach the turtles to read?"

"can i teach the turtles to tell the time?"

man, it was a relief when alex came to take the turtles away. my ears finally got some rest.

later, we had the first ever pt of the term. WE SHOULDN'T HAVE CHOSEN ABBY TO BE PT IC!!! it was soooooo much tougher than with the seniors around! lucky we only had time to do 2 sets.

and i think i really need to see a doc for my leg. =(
