Listening comprehension wasn't too bad. I understood about 75% of what was said. Although I couldn't read a lot of words in the question paper, which prevented me from picking the correct answers. My Chinese vocabulary sucks.

I went to buy a honeydew after that, for some sailing fund raising event tomorrow (go support! it's at the canteen!) I didn't know what I was doing at the supermarket. Xueli mentioned something about smelling the honeydew to see if it's good or not....

So I went to the honeydew area, and just... looked at the honeydews. Then a maid came by, and I asked her if she knew how to choose. She didn't. Yet she started sniffing them, so I followed suit.

Finally I found one which smelled like normal honeydew. On the way to the cashier, I saw my previous maid's friend, and asked very pathetically if she knew how to choose honeydews. She sniffed at the honeydew I was holding, and immediately said, "Aiyah, you choose not ripe yet lah, won't have any taste!"

So she went to choose for me. She found one for me and gave it to me. "This one fresh, will taste nice. Smell it."

So I smelled. It smelled the same.

I wonder how I will survive next time, when I can't even choose honeydews...
