So the other day I was having a nice, icy drink while playing the sims. I placed the nice, icy drink on top of the laptop, something I do for all other nice, icy drinks. Condensation from the nice, humid air settled on the nice, icy cold glass. Water from the nice, wet glass dripped down onto the nice, open laptop.
Nice, lazy me continued to enjoy the nice, icy drink even when the screen turned off. It wasn't until the computer gave a groan and I smelled burnt computer that it occured to me to switch off the power. It was too late :(.
Now I am left without minesweeper, solitaire, numerous movies to rewatch, family guy, SYTYCD, the sims, and the internet. And since I would have to shell out a couple of thousands of dollars to get a new laptop, it probably won't happen until next year. Which means the exams will be over. Which is a good thing, because I can now do things offline, like... study.
To show that I am happy about it, I am going to type out a smiley :D. To show that I am happy about showing that I'm happy, here's another smiley: :D.
(At least it did occur to me to copy all my sims stuff into the external hard drive just a few days ago, so I don't have to recreate my Kingdom. >: ( )
