I posted this on a forum a few weeks ago:

Let's see what you make of this.

A few days ago I dreamt I was some frog man (green skin, muscular, webbed hands and feet) in a deep underground cavern(really large, made of light brown rock - like the limestone caves I saw on a field trip). The king of frogs (I was thinking that in the dream), ruler of the place, wanted to capture me and sent his frogs after me. So there I was, with no place to hide and all these little hopping green things after me. It was quite scary. I stood by the wall and hoped they wouldn't see me, and hey, they didn't! (stupid frogs) And somehow there were large chicken eggs bouncing together with the frogs along the wall with some of them breaking and me just standing and watching, scared shitless.

And I didn't read/come across anything about frogs or underground caverns before that.

Feel free to tell me I'm actually a psychotic.

And I got a free dream analysis!:
People often dream about being inducted into a new house of learning, which symbolizes (by the appearance of the headmaster, patriarch, or ruler) a new branch of knowledge that will be encouraged in the dreamer. Some dream of being accepted into Hogwarts, others into a convent.

In your case, the key symbol is the description of a frog. I'll be honest with you; I've never seen a theory on frog imagery that I fully accepted. The appearance of frogs in dreams has to do with transformation, but I would submit that the dreamer has to feel decrease or drainage in some capacity to drive home this particular transformation. Like contact with a frog, thought to have both magical and poisonous properties, the dreamer will come to appreciate that transformation only by first learning from some toxic experience.

Seeing eggs crack in dreams -- I have heard it said this way; I kid you not -- is supposed to be a "bad omen" of things to come. Less mystically, I see eggs cracking in dreams, when a new, approaching thought will seem to the dreamer like "cracking" open the tight views of their mind. At any rate, stop running from the process, in whatever form it takes in your waking life.

As an alternative interpretation, girls do dream about bringing home frogs when they are looking for "the right prince". It may be time to go on a dating spree, in which case the eggs suggest you fear "nesting" or the commitment that dating may potentially lead to.

hahahahahahahahaha (hysterical laughter).
