No idea why I'm doing this, by the way. To spread my craziness around, I think. So I don't infect myself too much...
ANYWAY... There was Chinese Prelims today. Joy of all joys! I even learnt some very useful things from this extraordinary experience:
- Never study at night. Or rather, never start studying the night before the bleeding paper.
- If you do, don't drink coffee.
- Because apparently it doesn't work (for me) at night, and you become sleepy immediately after drinking.
- After spending the whole night studying, it's a good idea to drink some more coffee to stay awake for the test.
- But not 9 hours BEFORE the stupid test!!!
- That's because your idiotic brain will become fried and will do funny things. Like hallucinate.
Ok, I didn't really hallucinate, but my brain did do some weird stuff. Hahaz. I was reading the passage, and it was ok for the first few sentences. Then, I think I became very sleepy, and read English words from the passage. No idea how it happened: There I was, trying to make sense of the chinese words, then the story suddenly continued in english. Then snap! I suddenly woke up and became very confused... Did the flower sellers get into an accident with the cars by the road? Was there a man buying flowers for his girlfriend?? Freaky... (At least, i think the passage was about people selling flowers by the road... Is it???)
This happened a few more times, and I constantly went back to the beginning to reread, therefore wasting so much of my precious time. Finally I gave up and went on to the next passage. Luckily nothing much happened, just the usual: Me not understanding a word in the passage, and crapping around for the answers. Oh well.
My brain is still fried now, by the way. Better go and sleep... After that, I shall really have to start seriously preparing for Chinese O's... Even my maths tuition teacher is telling me to. Sigh...
